SUM400

The semester before you graduate (typically the fall of your senior year) you will enroll in your final General Education course, SUM400. In this course  you will focus on integrating your undergraduate experiences into your SUMMIT portfolio, a website that synthesizes your major, specialization and co-curricular activities into a unified web presence.

Specialization: Global Education, Leadership Development or both?

POST YOUR LINK HERE

Use this space to post a link to a reflection about your selection of a specialization. In the SUMMIT curriculum you select a LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT track, or a GLOBAL EDUCATION track as your area of study. It is also possible to select both courses. Each track requires courses in the SUMMIT curriculum beyond the General Education requirements that all students participate in.

THINKING ABOUT YOUR SPECIALIZATION:
How have your SUMMIT courses inspired you toward one of these tracks? Do you have particular strengths and interests that draw you toward one or the other? In what ways might your specializations integrate with your major and educational goals? Can you envision ways that these specializations might help you with short and long term post-graduate goals?

Note the courses you’ve elected to take–summer work, co-curricular work ( clubs, workshops, presentations, speakers) and internships and research questions.

Take stock of your skills. What do you skills do you want to learn? Consider a strategy for getting from here to where you want to be.
